Kitchen Towel Productions
Scott Wilson is the chef and owner of Kitchen Towel Productions, a personal chef service serving Bowling Green, KY and the surrounding areas since 2010. His previous personal chef service, Healthy Home Cooking, was in the Atlanta area from 1997 to 2009.
Kitchen Towel Productions offers traditional personal chef services, cooking classes for both individuals and groups, and intimate dinner parties.
Growing up in “LA” (lower Alabama) Scott learned how to cook from his mother and grandmothers. Growing up on a farm, all the family meals were prepared from fresh ingredients or from items canned from the summer bounty. While in college Scott had the opportunity to travel to France and that is when he became a “foodie”.
With a background as a restaurant/club chef for over 25 years he joined the personal chef ranks in 1997. Scott is a founding member of the Personal Chef’s Cooperative and a member of the USPCA. He was honored to receive the “Chef of the Year” award in 2006 from his peers in the USPCA. He is a certified personal chef with the USPCA and an inducted member of the American Academy of Chefs with the American Culinary Federation, their national honorary society. He has published three cookbooks and is currently on the Program Advisory Committee of the Bowling Green Technical College Culinary Department and a past committee member of the International Culinary School of the Arts Institute in Atlanta. As a personal chef, he has served as Co-Chair of the program advisory committee in the USPCA and chaired and co-chaired a regional and national convention.
Chef Scott currently lives in Bowling Green, KY with his wife Jennifer and their two dogs, Daisy and Aubie and his daughter is a pending grad student at Auburn University.
