Sally Cameron is living her life long passion for cooking, fine food, and entertaining. She started Everyday Gourmet to do what she truly loves; cooking for people and giving them more quality time in their lives. It’s her purpose in life. Everyday Gourmet offers personal chef services, cooking parties, cooking instruction both private and group, consulting services and in-home catering.
Chef Sally received her professional culinary training from The Art Institute of California – Orange County, graduating at the top of her class. She is also a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy and the University of San Francisco. Chef Sally’s professional affiliations include the US Personal Chef Association (USPCA) and the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). Her experience and professional training includes American regional, Italian, Asian, and classical French cuisines along with baking and pastry. Her specialty is cooking exactly what you want, whether its comfort foods, bistro fare, classic dishes or international flavors, all with a health focus.
Chef Sally is also a Certified Personal Chef. The designation of Certified Personal Chef (CPC) is the industry’s highest mark of excellence, indicating a recognized endorsement of demonstrated expertise. Personal chef’s honored as CPC’s have earned this designation through education, experience and professionalism. Clients can be assured the personal chefs with a CPC designation represent the upper tier within their profession and are committed to excellence.
Food safety is always of primary importance. Chef Sally is “ServSafe” certified in food safety and sanitation by the most widely accepted food safety program among local, state and federal health departments, the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
A native Californian, Sally loves working with top quality, fresh ingredients available in Southern California – vibrant produce, fresh seafood, organic poultry and naturally raised meat, fresh herbs, and wine.
Sally and her husband Kent live in Orange County, California where they enjoy spending time with friends and family (usually in the kitchen), pursuing their interest in food, photography, wine, travel and volunteer work with their church.
